No community organizers or therapists are going to deal with drugged up/crazy/criminal people in the hood without armed protection.

The cost of this will be far, far higher than just holding every citizen to the same standards of behavior.

So who pays for it and even so it’s going to fail miserably...will you just shut up and let the cops do the best job they possibly can and maybe even show them a little support?

Asking for a friend here.

As long as they don’t get ONE DIME of federal money to fix it, who cares?

With the hot weather coming confidence is low. Not only will the police not be defunded, I expect their overtime to go through the roof this summer.

Whoa now, seriously. You believed them?

MN city council is talking big, as usual there will not be a lot of real action on this.

in a few years, there will be yet another Mr. Floyd.

They'll fire the police chief and deflect all blame....and promise sweeping reforms. Again.

That's the problem. BLM is too politicized and distracted by leadership.

Maybe Trump can declare BLM a terrorist organization after the election.
