Anyone use Nextdoor app? I logged onto it tonight and people are reporting random cars driving around the neighborhood shooting into homes!!! One house was one street from ours, and a baby was in the room that was shot.
So far no one has been hurt. Looks like they are targeting homes flying the American flag.
Anyone else seeing this? Hopefully it won’t be a trend.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of crazy gun owners that use their guns to go out and inflict random violence on innocent people. I wish there was something we could do to stop that kind of thing from happening.

Wow, I recommend your city buy and deploy a Shot Spotter or Boomerang system.
It is a high-tech array of listening microphones, that automatically detects and locates gunfire in the Cityscape.
We got some in LA, I know it's a "Big City" high-dollar item, but I think it's essential for locating gang activity. No more guesswork, or reliance on people calling 911. We just triangulate it with radar.

The liberal hate for America and the American flag is strong. Last year, our HOA sent out an email around this time telling homeowners that we could not fly the flag on July 4th, with the explanation that it was being racist to people who weren’t Americans.
(There was an uproar and the decision was reversed. But still.)
