Berman, according to ABC in its national news just issued a statement that he was leaving effective immediately.
But Trump has not directly stated that he fired Barr. We just take Barr’s word for it? And why is Barr given carte blanche to make decisions for the President? Why can’t the president clarify his involvement? Oh wait! He did! He said he’s not involved.

And I can’t find the ABC story you’re talking about? Can you link it so I can read it?

If the ABC news report is accurate, Berman has accepted that his firing is a done deal. I've been trying to find the statement that Berman has issued about leaving office. It was breaking news according to the reporter who announced it on the national news ...... he was reading from the statement.
