I tend to favor the Democratic Party and I see a lot of people are blaming the entire party. This was a small amount of people and I do not approve of this action.
Every party has its own rude bunch. As a Pro-Life person I've even had democrats aggressively tell me that I don't belong in the party and even a snobby man tell me...a woman...that I am "anti-women"...what a hoot.
Anyways, I am sure most Democrats will condemn this and you will see key Democrats come out in support of Grant as he was not a Confederate and a positive force for civil rights in his era.

I'm curious, exactly what do you think happened at Charlottesville? I'm curious if you know anything that wasn't spoon fed to you by the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party -- aka CNN, MSNBC, WaPo, NYT and the rest. Did you know that James Fields was chased all the way to his car by an Antifa leader who was brandishing their AR-15? Did you know that this same leader told the gathered Antifa members to intentionally put their bodies in the way of cars driving towards them and to be ready to get hit? Did you know that the crazy Alt-Right -- reprehensible though their views may be -- do still have the right to free speech and had made all the necessary arrangements for their protest/march/thing? Did you know that the only reason Antifa showed up was to violently attack them? Did you know that -- as always -- Antifa attacked first? Did you know that's pretty much what Antifa always does, even if the people they are violently "counter-protesting" are only fascists and Nazis in their delusional minds?
Heather Heyer didn't have to die. She wouldn't have died if Antifa wasn't a bunch of violent a-holes.

Yeah really, those conservative counterprotester were totally painted with a broad brush, set up, framed, persecuted and targeted prosecuted by Democrats. There might have been a few that were extremists but they weren't all bad guys. There were more bad people on leftward side by far. It was such a snow job.

Pretty sure that my joking about them tearing down statues of Frederick Douglass and George Washington Carver just became extremely likely ... because "Black Lives Matter" ... naturally.
This one is a head-scratcher. How can they be against the cause of *both* the Union and Confederate armies? And with the protests being done in cooperation with BLM, it makes no sense to pick on Ulysses S. Grant. I have to assume those who did it were confused about just who they were tearing down.
