I do not understand Why we are not fighting back. Why is the silent majority allowing this to happen?

The statue of Francis Scott Key, who is known for writing "The Star-Spangled Banner" but was a slave owner, was toppled by protesters in San Francisco during demonstrations against racial injustice.

Key wrote "The Star-Spangled Banner" after he saw an American flag flying at the Battle of Fort McHenry following a victory over the British in the War of 1812. The lines he wrote turned into the national anthem.

As someone not from the US, I will never understand how someone can view a someone/a statue and just assign this person/statue a modern context, and totally sweep aside any positive contribution from the person due to one or few negatives in modern context the person has.

I am Russian, I do not look a statues of tsars and think "OMG, he allowed serfdom, tear it down". Yea, being a serf sucked, and sucked for decades after it was "officially" abolished. But I just cannot fathom wiping out all symbols and tributes to Russia's history and those who made it due to this.

Because the silent majority are grown ups and grown ups do not want to catch COVID

But have no doubt this is ONLY the beginning of a long and ugly culture war. In NYC, the imbecile mayor tasked his wife with how to remove statues of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, as well as a program to erect new statues around the city.

When statues go up of Kim Kardashian and the first Transexuals or whoever this crowd idolizes, they will become targets for the other side to take down

I would expect a huge wave of left leaning politicians to be unseated at some point. The question is when. Right now the electorate is so blinded by their rage and hate of Donald Trump that they are letting everything and anything happen that is considered "resisting" him

It's in San Francisco, man. What are you gonna do? Personally, I now feel that the cities can rot. I don't care about what goes on in them anymore.

Marxists here don’t care about context. All white statues are being torn down. They hate whites. People of Eastern Europe have bigger balls than men of western countries which are being overrun by 3rd world trash without a fight.
