Quaker Oats wasn't "forced by a government back lynch mob". No proof of it. The Christian Science Monitor couldn't even directly link it to BLM, just saying it is the latest in a series of dominos to fall.............../
We don' need no stinkin' proof!
We saw it with out own eyes. The Looney Left has harassed and bullied and destroyed whatever they could. They (Y'all) think they got away with it and stupidly "demand proof" of their misdeeds.
The proof of their stupidity will come in November.
2008 they got 69.9M votes
2012 they got 65.9M votes
2016 they got 65.7M votes.
I can't wait....
First things first: Aunt Jemima syrup is NOT maple syrup. You must have never had real maple syrup, let alone fresh maple syrup during sugaring off season in the spring, if you have the audacity to call AJ "maple syrup." I'll leave it at that.
Second, while I agree that liberals can take offense at trivial things, conservatives are no different. Easily offended? You're not kidding.
Here on CD, conservatives can dish it out, but they can't take it. And they're just as likely to go running to the mods when they read something they don't like. They resort to passive aggression, name calling, insults, and bullying.
Everyone, left and right, is usually pi$$ed about something. It's the American way.
Actually it goes a little deeper than that.
Aunt Jemima label is being dumped because the company is afraid what may happen if they don't. That's the point. American consumers don't have a problem with Aunt Jemima; they do have a problem with the bullying tactics being used by The Left. The Left forces companies to change things simply to please the left wing zealots - many of whom will not vote. Street protestors do not normally vote. That's why massive protests in '68 resulted in Nixon (the L&O President) being elected.
Not when many don't have access to water... Not when it is against Navajo culture to have gatherings of 10 or more.... Not when they don't have access to many intensive care unit ready hospitals...
You missed the point. Being away from outsiders who may carry the virus would protect them from getting sick in the first place.
That was the purpose of the lockdown for the rest of us.
Yup. And it all comes in plain bottles that have no racist labels on them.
The thing is: Aunt Jemima pancake mix was developed in a time when racism was considered to be humorous and perfectly acceptable.
Aunt Jemima was actually a popular minstrel song, and had an illustration of a "mammy" on the cover of the sheet music that was used on the mixes' first label. All the old house slaves were called "Aunt" or "Uncle" as polite honorifics, as Mr. and Mrs. denoted marriage, something that slaves were prohibited to do.
But the it was a jolly, comedic song, very funny, sandlot like Jim Crow, another popular hit of the day, so it sold lots of pancake mix.. To white folks who didn't know how to make as good-tasting pancakes as their black servants could make.

It should, but not when it was already there and permeating through out the Navajo territory in the first place. Prior to Maricopa County being the epicenter, Navajo County was the leading Covid-19 cases in Arizona. I saw it on the evening news regardless of station for weeks on end. It even made national news on national networks including ABC, NBC and PBS. Do some research before posting word salad on a forum.
Get rid of the black woman.....but keep the old white guy.
