Not really...

Lincoln Project people never liked Trump. They call themselves Republicans, but they aren't conservative - but seek to be better at liberalism than Democrats.

I guess this allows liberals to fool themselves but it is pointless to point to people who never supported Trump --ever - as evidence of his failures

As stated, these people never liked Trump. Trump wasn't really a Republican. He was something vastly more Poplustic (aka voice of the common people is what matters.) The GOP is being reinvented by Trump because it's what the people want.

The most remarkable thing about Trump's 2016 victory was the fact that so much of the core of the GOP was fighting against him.

I’m no fan of this President but that ad is really mean.
I’m hoping both campaigns eventually get around to talking about issues instead of the sleepy joe/shaky hands crap coming from both sides.

The difference with this ad is that is was created by an independent group, have you seen the ads that the President is putting out there? Negative remark upon negative remark and personal attack against his opposition and at the end his endorsement that this is his ad.

Once again he sets the bar down in the mud so don't complain when others follow suit...

Trump has a 94% approval rating from the Republican party which is highest ever recorded for both parties. His base is going nowhere as you would wish.
