While a white person may feel like they are putting in long hours, etc. A black person's work will receive more scrutiny. not in ALL instances. But enough to be noticeable and a problem.

I am not so sure this is true.
I've heard multiple people including flaming democrats say that they are afraid to give a bad review or complain to a boss about a black worker not doing their job for the team for fear of being called bigoted.
Putting in twice the work to get equal results? Are you speaking about Asian students?

It's not like American Blacks are the only group on Earth who ever had to deal with that.
That attitude is not only racial and ethnic, it spans nationality and is even sectarian.
The perception was always Catholics don't work as hard as Protestants.
It's also applied individually.
When you're the new kid on the block, you need to be doing it bigger and better than everyone else to be accepted.

That term is an old term and hadn't been used in years. That's not what it originally meant lol. It originally meant Whites had to pay more so they could live in a safe neighborhood, pay more in taxes for social programs, pay more in lost opportunities for affirmative action, pay more in intra-racial crime etc.
That's not to say it is true or not but that is borrowing a term and completely reversing its original meaning.
