Someone has to speak up. Finally, the Seattle Times said it.

Quote:
You can support your country or Trump, but not both

And in the end, it doesn’t matter much whether he is a moral monster or an utter ignoramus. Or both. What he undeniably is is a man who has spent a lifetime oozing his way out of accountability. From his bone spurs to his broken marriages to his bankrupt casinos to his fraudulent university to his crooked charity to his failed meat company to his unpaid bills to the manifold debacles of his presidency, when has Trump ever had to stand up and take the weight? No, avoiding the weight is who he is, who he always will be.

Yet if this latest episode teaches us nothing new about Trump, one harbors a faint hope that it may be a Rubicon of sorts, a bridge finally too far, for some of his enablers, for the pundits, politicians and aides who serve as his unswerving amen corner, professing to divine perfume-scented rainbows in the steaming piles of horse manure he leaves behind. One hopes they finally understand the bottom line here: you can support your country or Trump, but not both.

one wonders what the Seattle Times said, from the beginning, about CHOP.

While we're at it, what they say about that nutjob City Councilwoman.

That they can write this after over a month of looting, riots, arsons, assaults, and murders.

Does it sound to anyone else like the author is a 12 year old?

A reminder to those who attempt to deflect (likely because they cannot refute), THIS is the subject of this thread:

You can support your country or Trump, but not both

Ah yes, the birth place of Chaz/Chop.

I’m impressed you had the nads to actually post a thread using the anarchist times as a source.

If I lined a birdcage with that rag, I’d be arrested for animal cruelty.

The article from the OP is 180 degrees out of phase...

Here are the issues brought forth in the article...
  • Russian paying bounty to Afghanistan
  • White power tweet
  • Needs two hands to drink water
  • He said COVID under control
  • Joking about injesting household cleaners
  • He fired a prosecutor
  • He met w/ Diamond and Silk

Here's what not mentioned
  • Record low unemployment before the China virus hit
  • Controlling the border
  • Closing down the endless wars
  • Brought manufacturing back to the US when no one thought it could be done
  • Forced NATO members to pay their fair share
  • Prison reforms that gives many black Americans a second chance
  • Reforming the courtrooms
  • Wants America to be great
  • Record economy
  • Opportunity zones helping inner cities

What do you think is more likely to improve the lives of Americans?

Actually the topic of the thread is how immature the left can become with their TDS.

What do you mean "finally"? This is the standard left talking points and has been for years.

Oh, you thought the Seattle Times saying it added credence to it didn't you.
