I've heard the sexism argument about chess since I was a kid. Why is the king the most important piece and not the queen? It was only a matter of time before it came to this. Maybe we can just change the color of the black pieces to green?

Yeah and it ignores that the Queen is the most powerful piece and the rook has more power value than the king.
A state of something isn't racist... When we use the term racist or racism we are actually referring to discrimination or prejudice. Something that just happen to be white and another black isn't a state of racism... until it is specifically used to oppress another group of people.
Oreo comprises of a black cookie surrounding a white cream middle. That in of itself isn't a sign of racism. Taunting my H.S. friend to the point of tears by calling her "Oreo" because she dated a black student (she was white) is discrimination and prejudice.
I dated (I am Asian) a girl in H.S. whose family was loosely tied to the KKK. They always served me in a red solo cup while everyone else (white) got glasses. The red solo cup, in my private mind/thoughts represents racism, but it in of itself isn't racist but the exclusion in the presence of others is certainly unwelcoming and racist/prejudice.
All these threads pointing out that something just happened to be black or white is silly.......... People claim that all this attention to racial issues in America is overblown and insensitive... well marginalizing them is equally as insensitive.. Pot meet kettle.
And there ain't a damn thing the white man can do to change that!
Yes, because those flavors truly represent races of people!
P.S. Individually I like chocolate better, but isn't vanilla better with apple pie than chocolate?
