This is the power of a nation united behind a just cause. Even in the Deep South, the BLM movement has changed hearts. We are better people, and a better nation, because of this movement.

In the same article another poll shows that voters want to keep the old flag.

How convenient that you missed that. BLM is racist terrorist Marxist trash.

I didn’t. That poll was conducted by another pollster earlier in the month. The result was something like 46-44, well within the margin of error of 4%. Like the article said, the result was basically a statistical tie. None of the polling about this question had come close to a statistical tie before this year’s BLM movement. Now, this latest poll shows the momentum has moved beyond a mere statistical tie. The majority now favor removing the Confederate emblem.

This is really quite wonderful and tells you how much our unified support of BLM can change hearts, even in the Deep South.

Thanks. You as well. Our nation isn’t perfect, not by a long stretch. But removing these Confederate emblems from state flags gets us closer there, even if by just a little.

Unbelievable that it is the first time something so obvious should be done...

Put it on the ballot and let the people (not the politicians) vote. No problem...……...

You are dreaming. If there is any support for changing the flag it has nothing to do with BLM.

Must be nice to have nothing else to worry about beyond fear of a statue.

Lol...population of Mississippi is approximately 3 million...this poll asked 500 people about the flag..the Tarrance Group does alot of political polling so of course they couldn't have a agenda... how much of this is being pushed by outsiders? When South Carolina took down their flag those demanding it were bused in and lines of buses stretched from SC back up 95 into VA. Let the legitimate residents of Mississippi vote and decide the flag issue everyone else mind your own States problems.
