What about the protesters, rioters, looters, and marchers who played politics with the virus?

Does yelling and screaming at the top of your lungs around 30K people stop the virus?

If I wanted to know how to deal with the Chinavirus, I'd ask the governor of Texas-who has 1/20th the death rate of Cuomo. Even Florida, a larger state with an older, more vulnerable population, has 1/10th that of NY.
There were just a few reasons that NY had a high mortality rate but the issue now is these Trump states that ignored the science and went their own way to reopen. The have spike the US infection rate to where it was 2 months ago and now we lead the world exceeding even Brazil and India. We possess some of the best medical people in the world and its useless without leadership.

funniest posts here are from those beating their chests about New York this summer. It's coming back and soon, wait a week or so, Cuomo has mishandled this from the beginning, these death totals don't lie.

Cuomo has been a leader in dealing with this virus. The northeastern states are doing really well containing this. They did it by shutting things down, wearing masks and not opening up too quickly. The south is just exploding.
Governors aren't equipped to deal with a global pandemic. That's the job of the federal government which has failed.

Instead of blaming others for his ineptness, he should take responsibility for not being pre-pared at all, while telling us in March how we were “well prepared”. Also, people need to focus on the real villains here, and its China. They were the ones who screwed the entire world, yet all I read is how everything is the president’s fault? It’s really mind-boggling.
One thing I learned with Obama was how much media support can shape public perception. No matter how many scandals that they themselves broke news of, they always eventually cast it as some witch-hunt by the Republicans. Andrew Cuomo enjoys an only slightly less fawning press.

Delusional again. #1 state with COVID deaths is drumroll, New York.

The governors in the northeast have this under control for now. The south, especially Florida, is the next epicenter.
