https://www.forbes.com/sites/sarahha.../#75ddd7f891b4

The Trump Administration sent more than a million stimulus checks worth $1.4 billion to deceased people, according to data released Thursday by the Government Accountability Office—the watchdog report comes as lawmakers continue to disagree on how to approach the economy in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The findings were part of a comprehensive report on the effectiveness of the trillions in stimulus spending the federal government has undertaken to cushion to economic blow of the coronavirus pandemic.

You think the administrative departments responsible for this task would have done something differently if a different president was in the White House??

Another fail Finn - this has been a problem with the govt for ages. They don't cross check - be it lack of man power or pure laziness.

https://www.npr.org/2012/02/14/14682...r%20inaccurate.

No different than people who died found to be voting in elections for 6 yrs after they died. Maybe some should volunteer their time and cross check to help our gov't out.

I'll be waiting for the Republican's investigation of the IRS.

Hope they spend half the effort on this that they spent on that Darrell Issa ginned up story about 501(c)4s.

It took that zombie issue years to go away. Never did find any evidence of anybody doing anything wrong.

Maybe the Rs will use the inability of the IRS to talk to Social Security as evidence of voter fraud.

We all know POTUS Trump only hires the best. Go Mnuchin.

Yes. Of course. This is classic pee-on-the-run with no-one thinking anything through. The only priority was to make sure Trump's name was on the checks.

Incompetence. If someone has made the same mistake in the past, and you didn't learn from it, its on you.
