I'm upset that BLM isn't making it a thing instead of the drug addict, deadbeat dad, career criminal George Floyd and the other criminal Brooks. This kid's life really DID matter.

Well, the fact that I HAVE heard about Floyd and Brooks to the degree that they are now household words and this kid's name isn't, I am of the view that BLM has not made much of this sickening case.
It happened months ago; where were the nationwide protests like that felon loser GF triggered?
Contrast GF with his golden casket and multi state memorial and MASSIVE "GoFundMe", with this normal black citizen's case. No way ELIJAH McCLAIN (I feel like saying "say his name") is as famous as GF. Wrong just wrong.

Well I'll tellya...THIS CASE is the first one that has made me think this "police brutality" thing may actually BE a thing...I'd attend a protest for THIS case...so if BLM wasn't just about criminals I'd think they'd have made THIS GOOD DECENT KID, their "poster child" (I hate that trite phrase but can't think of another atm) NOT GF.
If I were this kid's Mother I'd be all like...ok when my decent son who had an actual JOB and was not doing crime, was subjected to this...where were you guys? Why did you make a career criminal the face of your movement and not this kid who harmed no one and had a freaking JOB??

GF did some terrible things in his life, but apart from that, that case is as bad or worse than this. This kid at least left the scene alive. Chauvin killed Floyd right there on the street, with people filming and asking him to stop, and he didn't care.
These cops were callous and over aggressive (there wasn't even anyone accusing the kid of a crime) with this kid.
There are many stories like this that have happened since George Floyd was murdered. How are these idiot thug cops still doing these things?
My fear is that the further we get away from the Floyd incident, the lower the chances are that any changes will be made. They never are.
EFF Floyd. THIS incident...no excuses, no explanation could make what these cops did OK. None. This is too clear cut. This was a SMALL 140 lb kid who did nothing. He DID fight them...ugh...why just why...but surely the two of them could control him? I find it really sus that the bodycam was "knocked off".
I agree Chauvin vibed sadistic, I posted that ages ago. Still, GF was a massive, drugged up violent loser. This kid...no just no. Makes me want to join a protest.
How are you all determining that BLM doesn’t care? You all really need to expand your news sources beyond Fox News because this story has been everywhere. All you are doing is broadcasting how little you actually follow the news.
I DON'T much follow the news. I should say...I didn't at all until the past few weeks when the madness started. Now I do and I check like five different ones; including CNN. I so wish I knew a truly unbiased source.
I keep saying why I'm determining BLM doesn't care:
GF's death resulted in a huge nationwide reaction...this kid's did NOT.
GF's name is the one being graffiti-ed all over during the madness...NOT Elijah McClain nor Botham Jean.
If Elijah's case is now everywhere that is excellent...should've been the one that triggered the madness...not GF.
That is the problem with BLM. If they were really about what they claim they would be concerned with every tragic death suffered at the hands of police and more so each other. Black people kill more black people than any other group but where are the vigils, the protests, the riots, etc etc???
BLM has become a political tool of the Left that bows down to their demands for change but do we really know how far they want that change to go?
And why are so many blacks killing other blacks on the streets today?...One thing...DRUG DEALING!! (see history of drug laws, and the explanation is clear as day)
Heres a question...how are all these street drugs CONSISTENTLY entering the country and reaching their destination? (hint...its NOT black people, who are transporting and 'allowing' this stuff to come in so regularly!)
Non-racist whites are already standing with BLM. Racist Whites will never stand with any BLM movement regardless of how much of a model citizen the victim is. Your first statement is a pretty good indication of that.
I hate criminals. I actually am pretty misanthropic in general and I can assure you...race is not a factor.
I'd feel the same about GF, this kid, Botham Jean if all three were Swedish or Chinese. Criminals don't trigger my sympathy; decent folks like this kid, do.
