Russia paid bounties for american soldiers killed and Trump allegedly did nothing (status, troops)

I detest the Russians, quite possibly as much as I do Muslim terrorists. That said who honestly believes that the Russians offering a bounty made any difference with people who would gladly kill a US soldier for free? People who would strap a bomb on their only child, on their wife, on a mentally challenged child, just to kill American soldiers.
Do we hold the moral high ground in that region or even in regard to the Russians?
WE spent years arming the very people trying to kill our soldiers. We armed them and they killed many Rassian soldiers, shot down Helicopters filled with Soviet troops. Some could argue that they owe us some pay back in that arena.
Most of the world sees us as being at least as bad as the Russians or Chinese, maybe worse. WE have an annoying habit of starting wars with anyone we disagree with.
IMO there is a lot of fake outrage by the left. The only time they care about US troops is when they can use them for political fodder.

Plus the narrative is difficult to follow, the Talaban wants the coalition gone. Ramping things up again would certainly delay that.

I looked at the replies to his tweet....do they not teach reading comprehension anymore. It's just a bunch of incoherent screeching about his tweet.
If Russia wanted US troops dead, they would just supply training and weapons. The Taliban already want to kill US troops, they need no motivation like a bounty, lol.
It's just ANOTHER hoax. Intel never reported it to Trump because it wasn't credible.
