Yes, as a cure is widely available that is true. However, now, 150,000+ Americans will die despite social distancing, wearing masks and shutdowns. Compare that to Taiwan, practically no shutdowns and seven deaths.

People need to ask why Asian countries are almost unanimously handling this virus quite well.

We can save lives and the economy and give Trump a shot in November by simply wearing masks and avoid crowds.

Trump is enabling the spread of the virus. Not intentionally though. Just pure stupidity.

Flu is between 24000 and 62000 deaths per year.

Flu also tends to be seasonal.. Oct through April . We are in summer with warm/hot weather and experiencing a rise in COVID cases... there doesn't seem to be a "season" for COVID but rather year round infection.

The observe rise in COVID in certain states includes hospitalizations...

NY, NJ, CT are 3 of 4 states in a clump area that are on a decline while most of the rest of the country is either steady or rising.... should figure out why.

Jammin, it’s really not like you to be so unkind. Many people have compromised immune systems through no fault of their own such as people with cancer. I will do my part by wearing a mask and giving people space. We are all in this together.

They have all experienced similar pandemics in recent history thus the populace and governments are more prepared.

My Korean friends don't quite understand the difficulties we are having here in the US. South Korea the masks were readily available and quite cheap... Wearing masks isn't seen as a political statement. A person not wearing a mask during a pandemic is considered a disregard to those around.. disrespectful.

Why do you want Trump to be re-elected if he is enabling the spread of the virus by his own stupidity?

That makes no sense.

I don’t. That comment was aimed at the right who tend to be the anti maskers on this forum. The deaths and economic plight from not wearing masks will ensure their man’s defeat.

I can’t stand the Democrats and would prefer practically any rational Republican over Biden but Trump has to go.

Masks. Uh huh. That protect against bacterial infection in a viral pandemic. Last I checked 6tth grade health class taught the difference twixt a virus and a bacteria. One being size which again last I checked makes a difference in filtration methods.

A surgical bacterial mask wont do it. In inhalation or exhalation. But hey, that's Trumps fault to right.
