This is news?
Weren't you going on ad nauseum about how Colin Kaepernick had freedom of speech to say whatever the heck he wanted without repercussion? And this was ON THE JOB never mind on his free time

Such colossal hypocrisy

That girl's message was literal, and wildly inaccurate. She claims no one cares or is punished when black people kill white people or each other. It's a completely false, lazy, and inflammatory meme.

Do you ever read literature? You would learn a lot about symbolism and analogy.
The agrarian south was destroyed during the civil war and declined steadily long afterwards. There is no agrarian south left compared to what it once was. So the metaphor does NOT really work.

She does not claim "no one cares or is punished", maybe here metaphorical watch checking has to do with the wildly disproportionate response aimed at black men killed by police, versus the number of people being killed by black men, of all races.

the numbers are even far more disproportionate if you factor in unarmed or unjustified killings of black men by police. You're getting into very thin numbers here, where as young black man being killed by other young black men ...the numbers are not so thin.

That is the essence of her crude video.

I would NOT allow my kid to post something like that, probably ever but definitely in this climate with the witch hunt that is going on, but that doesn't mean the reaction to it is appropriate.
