The idealistic kid died protesting "systemic racism". Systemic racism in part apparently being the policing of areas where disproportionate levels of crime and violence occur which happen to be made up mostly of POC as residents He was then killed by a POC in a senseless act of crime and violence.

It's not ironic, it's sad, and shows how this quasi-religious cult like movement is flawed at its core belief.

Well, as long as Lopez was a protester or rioter, the current social climate seems to suggest that he must have been compelled by 'outrage' - which makes anything okay.

I realize this is a little snarky, but, we seem to be living in a time when anything is acceptable, as long as the perpetrator is black, a black sympathizer or is politically outraged at Trump!

As a decent, law-abiding citizen, I'm fed-up with this full-out anarchy -- and politicians who seem helpless to do anything ... for "fear of offending the snowflakes". I remember a similar thing happening during the Vietnam era. -- Things are only going to get worse - until the adults stand-up and respond with force.
