These morons were trespassing on private property, after all the looting and mayhem going on under the guise of 'protests,' I don't fault them one bit.

Quote:
A couple in St. Louis is coming under fire on social media after images and videos showed them aiming guns at protesters who were marching past their home on a private road.

Footage showed the couple, one with a pistol and the other with what appeared to be a semiautomatic rifle, shouting at the protesters and waving the weapons around. At times, they appeared to be pointing the firearms toward the demonstrators.

i don't fault them either.

The "peaceful crowd of protesters" chanted "kill all cops" and threatened to seize the property and firearms of the couple.

More people should be ready to defend themselves.
I don't blame these people.
That woman is giving me a nervous tick, though.
Learn gun safety, lady.

The lady was obviously inexperienced in handling a weapon the way she was holding it and waving it back and forth.

But saying that's "pointing it at the protesters" isn't really accurate.

Yes. she did look a bit ignorant.

Otherwise, yeah, it's time to protect what's yours.

That was so refreshing to see.

All that is needed to squash the violent BS antics of these protestors is some show of force by way of old fashioned policing.

If you watch a lot of the videos going around of these violent protestors, most are 18-25 very young, suburban entitled, wimpy type millennials and Gen Z folks.

Wouldn't take too much to crack them into shape.

Nice house. It is kind of like a castle or a keep and I could see why they would want to protect it from the mob. I would have stationed myself on the roof to give myself a tactical advantage. Being on the ground face to face is not a good way to defend anything.

It looks like the guys wife needs some training.

It is pretty sad but if you own something nice and the mob decides to take it, you better be ready to hand it over because if you fight back you will be going to prison and you will lose everything. Just call it an "unexpected donation".

My problems with this are.....

1. The woman has poor trigger discipline.

2. The couple is obviously fairly well off yet their choice in firearms is weak.

3. I don't believe for a second they'd have survived if the crowd rushed them.

In theory I support people standing up and protecting their property, but they need to be better armed and better trained....and they need to pick their battles better. A bare bones AR and a James Bond pea shooter in the hands of obvious amateurs facing a decent sized crowd in an open environment is just asking to get yourself killed. Best case scenario they take one or two people down with them right before they get beat to death.
