The media lies. They're all about the Narrative, they take facts, events, quotes, images and pick through them to shape the Narrative. They've been busted so many times that to deny that they are lying is to join them in their lying.
Assume they are lying, until it can be proven otherwise. Even if it's a report about a street being closed for maintenance on page 18, assume they are lying, until proven otherwise.
Ex Dem here too. Voted for Bill both times. Sanctuary cities which pretty much mean no borders, the media demonizing the Covington kids and covers for the black Israelites and the Loco Indian, the fake Jussie Smollet scandal, and on and on. I left early compared to these people.

I have two lifelong Democrats in my family that have gotten disgusted with the party. One is going to vote for Trump , and the other is either not going to vote, or vote 3rd party.
Maybe I should have them tell their stories (I am pretty sure both have social media platforms) where they went from ardent (not fanatical) Democrats, to fairly normal people saying you no longer represent my views.

Why don't you ask her in the Comments section? If she can give you the approximate date you might find it on youtube or ABC's website. But what if what she said was true? What will you do? I can understand your fear that the media you trusted for decades has been lying and manipulating you. I was frightened because I have relatives who escaped Communist countries and know how dangerous not having a free press is. Then I got angry!
Years before Trump, I noticed events I attended or watched live on TV as they happened were later censored, edited, twisted into a left wing agenda. That is how most of the half million #WalkAway Dems were born!
We don't want you to become Republican unless you want to. You don't have to vote Republican unless you want to. You can do whatever you like. #WalkAways just want people to think for themselves based on evidence, not propaganda.

But neither her nor you have provided any evidence of her claim. That isn't my job to search the internet for to prove her right or wrong. You are the one posting this stuff.....show us the evidence.
