Movies that give a good picture of just how good life was in the US before uncontrolled immigration, Democratic welfare policies that have destroyed our once beautiful cities and poisoned our youth?
And not just movies, TV programs like Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, Highway Patrol, The Waltons...just name them.
LOL... didn't you get the memo? The socialist revolution was back in 1933. It just took them 87 years to slowly and incrementally enact all the planks of the communist manifesto. Now is the consolidation of power, urged on by destruction of public monuments, rioting, and people trapped "sheltering in place".
WELCOME TO THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF AMERICA, where everything not mandatory, is licensed, taxed, or otherwise not permitted.
Looks like you haven't watched TV since the early 70s. That's when the Waltons, the newest show on your list, first aired.
Honestly, now. Do you remember what immigration was like in the 70s? Or the "Democratic welfare state" was like?
Or, since most on that program list are from the mid 1950s, what immigration was like then? 60 years is a long time. To even remember those things, a person would have to be almost an adult. Children don't think so much about the stuff.
Get over it. Things change much more rapidly in the U.S. than that. You're looking back on the past with rose-colored glasses. The 50s were not as swell as you think they were, and neither were the 70s.
Back then, none of those shows portrayed the America that existed. All were fantasies, an entertaining spin on our lives at that time, but not at all realistic or accurate.
