I will do that. I remember enjoying Highway Patrol when I was a kid.

I remember hearing about that. Aren't they banning a few Tarot cards as well?

I didn't watch it when it was first on TV -- other things going on in my life at that time. But I think I'll go watch a few episodes now, just to **** somebody off and say I've had the experience, before it becomes forbidden!

Yall most probably wouldn't know a single word of it. I grew up listening to this. My grandfather played music with him. I know what he's singing and sing along when this is playing. Love love Cajun French.

FYI...Cajun language was "banned" a long time ago. I remember my grandparents telling me that in school they would get whooped when they spoke French. It was shunned. But thankfully the language is preserved through perseverance and passed on to younger generations.
thanks, that was very cool.

my first exposure to zydeco was after i moved to east texas. i would hear the craziest-sounding accordion music on late night AM radio, and it took quite a while before i learned it actually had a name. i like it.

I expect Southern states to erect statues to the coronavirus. We wouldn't want them to forget their history.

Southern Rock.

I wonder if Vegas has odds on that one.

Better get your Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, etc on physical media quick before it gets erased from the internet.
