If Mt Rushmore and the men that are honored at Rushmore are now considered problematic and subject to being erased and condemned by the liberals in this country, there is no part of this country that is possibly redeemable for them. If Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt are glorifications of white supremacy and thus need to be torn down, it means this country is fundamentally rotten and was an ill conceived idea that needs to be destroyed. There is literally no way around it.
It would be the equivalent of British people condemning and forbidding any monument or statue honoring William of Normandy, James I, William of Orange, and Queen Victoria. It would be like the French condemning De Gaulle. It would be like the Canadians condemning Cartier, MacDonald, Pearson and Trudeau.
At some point if all the important figures in your history are now evil and need to be condemned and erased from history, you have to start looking at the country as a whole as being evil and needing to be torn down. A country with no history is no country at all. If you can't be proud and defend your own country then you have to find a new country.
No that is not the issue. the four presidents are fine but a memorial to 4 white men, several of whom had a significant role in mistreating American Indians, is not welcome on the sacred ground of a tribe of American Indians. It is the location that is the issue. Want to do it on hillside in WV go for it. Just not in the Black Hills.

Did you research these complaints? Or did you just take as fact whatever your media told you? Did you notice a common theme, where there was always something that these woman wanted? To promote a restaurant, to get Trump to settle a suit with a husband, to sell a book, to get their mortgage paid off, etc., etc....

I, unlike you, was and still am waiting for absolute proof/a legal resolution. With that said, Reade had more proof than any of those who complained about Trump.
