This is one day after Patriarchy came-a-knockin'. Each one announced himself. And I say "him" because, well neither could really be a woman, right? I thought about doing the same routine I do for the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Good Humor man and pretend I'm not home, but then I just did my best sheepish white man voice and said, "Go away! You're not wanted here!" I guess they went away. I can't say for sure. I didn't actually see either of them. Apparently no one has.

Don't think of Mr. Systemic Racism nor Mr. Patriarchy as activists. While they are active all the time, they gain power over us through temptation. If we can just resist the temptation and reject Systemic Racism and Patriarchy, we will go a long way in purifying our souls and atoning for our collective sin. Don't misunderstand, Systemic Racism is an entity. It makes decisions on its own. It thinks. It evolves as a tempter. It tricks. It even has a number. Perhaps the greatest trick Systemic Racism played on us is getting many of us to believe it doesn't exist.
