Except our current leadership doesn't believe in that. Look at our handing of the outbreak versus theirs.

Anyone else see the irony in that? Especially since a handful of countries that have managed their covid outbreaks well enough to be allowed up into the EU are majority muslim.

Also worth noting: Canadians also made the cut. Perhaps Trump’s next achievement will be that Canada builds a wall along its southern border to keep those virus-riddled Americans at bay. Wonder if we’ll pay for it, too?
And the Chinese are allowed if they reciprocate.. they dont want us under any condition, we are the outcasts. Thank yoy Trump

Plenty of stuff to see in this country.
You cant travel within most of the country either. Not even road trips - no bathroom facilities unless you want to use the great outdoors.

We cant see our own country, most of them are surging. Thank you Trump.

You the taxpayer paid for a wall back in 2006 under the Secure Fence Act. Did you question the cost back then? Thought not!

It isn't irony, it is sad. We should have been in this spot but nope. Trump had a chance to get ahead of the virus. But no, because testing is a negative to Trump, contact tracing is a negative to Trump and masks are a negative to Trump, we get behind the virus. He disguises it as being the Chinese virus and we blocked Chinese travel. All the while New York got cases not from China, but Europe. By the time Trump enacts a European travel ban on March 11th (forgetting the UK initially), New York saw cases surging and the markets were nose diving. The only reason Trump even addressed the virus was the markets. Once the markets stabilized, Trump stopped talking about the virus and moved on to say "We won."

The American public followed suit. Part of this was also related to general cabin fever from lockdowns and people wanting to get back to normal. Americans quickly returned to parties, bars, tubing and eating out. Many Americans only wore masks if the locations mandated them. Not because it was the right thing to do. I have worn masks since about the time it was recommended. Most only did once masks were mandated by cities, counties or states. A number STILL don't.
