Your so-called "experts" are in charge of producing a cure for the virus.

Keep us posted about their success or failure in that effort. Will you please?

Why is everything so black and white with you? Seriously, get over it. Americans wanted and needed a competent leader who listened to experts, who didn’t talk about injecting bleach, someone who leads by example, someone who didn’t jump on any miracle drug touted by twitter or the gatewaypundit.

He didn’t need to, and still doesn’t need to, make the virus vanish. He just needed to, and needs to, act like a responsible adult, let alone a leader. But he’s treating the pandemic like an obstacle to his reelection rather than a problem that affects us all. So no, you don’t get to play the “if X were in Trump’s position” game. It’s stupid and doesn’t excuse Trump’s failures.

Trump is the sitting president and he failed.

Had Obama been as ineffective in a medical crisis as Trump has with Covid, I would deride him too. He never did fumble. Trump butt fumbled this.

It’s disgusting. How come in Europe they were able to flatten the curve and slowly reopened.

The cheetoh in charge needs to be voted out. I knew his presidency was going to be bad, not this bad.

Obama had been aware of the potential disaster of a pandemic, already had a kind of playbook, and had funded some preparedness, which Trump discontinued.

So we would not have been in such bad shape with Obama.

And what is new about this? That was always the idea. Slow it down but there was no way to stop it.

Responsible adults? What about all the Democrats telling people to go out and protest in massive crowds?

Or the media getting a lot of you to somehow believe there was ever going to be a way to stop it short of a vaccine 2 years down the road or herd immunity?

You know it’s too bad Trump didn’t make masks and distancing mandatory at his rally’s....he is ignoring all the vulnerable populations especially our senior citizens, who probably would love to see his show, but don’t want to take the risks. Too bad.

In Europe (except for Germany) they killed a lot more people.
