Minnesota's Governor Tim Walz (D) is now asking for help from the Federal Government to rebuild after protests following the death of George Floyd caused hundreds of millions of damage in The Twin Cities.

In the wake of George Floyd's death, protests, fires, and looting caused extensive damage in the Twin Cities. Nearly 1,500 businesses were damaged, and costs to rebuild are estimated at $500 million!

Walz is asking for President Trump to declare a disaster in Minnesota and for funding from FEMA for debris removal and repairing damage to public buildings and equipment.

Minnesota, you allowed it (and even CONDONED IT), so YOU need to pay for repairs, damages, etc. And NOT expect hard-working American taxpayers in the other 49 states to bail you out! You're a groveling, incompetent, Democrat governor!

Amazing how Democratic 'leaders' fail at even their most basic duty - to protect their citizenry.

Waltz and Mayor Jacob Frey (D) shirked their responsibilities, and then blamed it on the President. And now they have the nerve to ask for Federal money!

How long are the people of these cities going to keep re-electing these incompetent losers!?

The failed Democratic 'leaders' are responsible for their response that caused the damage by their constituents !!! No federal money should be used to backstop their ignorance !!!

No absolutely not. You allowed it! Mayor Frey told the police to abandon the precinct....well he got what he wanted and Minneapolis looks like a war zone. Let them raise taxes , they want to defund the police....do u really think there wont be more .

No more bailouts for failure to do your job.

Let the DNC donate towards the rebuild. Minneapolis could also start a GoFundMe page. I don't want my tax dollars helping them rebuild.

BTW can we deduct these costs from any future reparations package towards the descendants of black slaves? We need to ask Pelosi this.
