your problem is that you havent yet hit that point where you get fed up and start properly educating yourself and seeing through the lies, and half truths being spewed by the far left. you still buy into the "peaceful protesters" meme put out by the left wing media, an you still listen to all the hate speech spewed by the same media.
as more and more people actually start to educate themselves and really see what is going on, they do tend to become more conservative, moving away from the far left.
here is hoping that the people continue to educate themselves, and really open up their eyes to what is really going on, and finally reject the far left radicals creating all the anarchy.
Abolish the police, science being "racist", "racist" being redefined.... yeah, the far left is actually fully insane now and I say this as a person who is reasonably hopeful to see Trump get as far from the White House as can be. The woke mob and AOC/Kshama Sawant wing of progressives are every bit as dangerous as the MAGA right is typically portrayed as being. The hard truth is that the left has replaced the religious right as the thought police of the country, and it's going to turn a lot of people off.
I believe the far right faction, white supremacist is much smaller than people seem to think or at least lefties think.

A rather large majority of the protests were peaceful, a rather larege majority of Americans condemn rioting and looting. You can be against both violence and Trump, they aren’t exclusive. He did a poor job of diffusing a bad situation worse.
My older sister is a prime example of this. Up until a month ago, she was a lifelong leftist loon who cursed me every chance she got for my more common sense views
But after the BLM distortions, lies, and calls to disband the police (she took a look at what the statistics actually show, not what BLM is pushing via a false narrative...yes we are black ourselves), she took a hard turn to the right. She still won’t call herself a conservative as she is pro choice (her words), but the transformation has been astonishing.
How will she vote? In the end how people actually vote is what matters. And if they vote is another consideration.

A non vote for a Democrat is still beneficial to him. However I still think Biden wins fairly easily. My son was a right wing nut and now can't stand Trump specifically.
If you blame Trump for being polarizing, then you can't turn a blind eye to the polarizing policies on the left, e.g. "white privilege", "toxic masculinity", "black lives matter". Men bad, white people bad, black people good, etc.
This right here. Best post this month. Most can agree some of the stuff Trump says is awful, but that does not make the left innocent.

It does for many. Moderates don’t agree with these idiot politicians holding their forces back during all this violence. It definitely isn’t driving votes away from Trump.
And all these attacks on everything white isn’t securing white votes for Biden.
