I am wondering the same thing if MLK and Parks will be next. I think the vandals know basic history and know who Douglas was so it is hard to blame ignorance. I can not figure out why they are doing this?
It makes sense that the Left would despise Frederick Douglass if you have ever read him.
Douglass talks about your destiny being in your own hands. That you have more influence over your outcomes than anyone else. That what you work for is yours and no one has a right to take it away from you.
First the 54th Massachusetts monument now Frederick Douglass. Sheesh! Next will be the 10th Cavalry, George Washington Carver hell they'll even go after MLK.
They have no knowledge of history. Probably cant read, and since a statue doesn't show skin color think ALL statues are of "old White dudes."
