I watched the race and didn't see that on the feed which was broadcast on ESPN, although I try to skip through the non-racing action so it may have aired. If it was up to ESPN it likely was included but they have no say on what the cameras focus on.
Why does it offend you? They are not protesting the flag, the anthem or anything that should trigger you, but triggered you are........
I'll tell you why. Because it is implying that whites are racist and blacks are the non-racist victims. Also, I don't want politics in auto racing and sports especially politics I strongly disagree with.
I think some people are missing the point. The kneeling is just a symbol, a small step toward something else. Some questions are flowing through my mind right now. Did these folks do this by choice? Were they influenced by the higher up? Were there external influences? Speaking of influences, I am very certain that mainstream media have become an enormous influence over the thoughts and even lives of large segments of society. If you see the same "reporters" praising certain behaviors or attacking the same person everyday, some of it will seep in to even the most rational people.
Unfortunately, most people are not rational. And this is why mainstream media have become effective political arms of certain organizations and countries. And speaking of which, I came across this source detailing how China has infiltrated American mainstream media. It's not like most of you don't already know. But it's worth reminding ourselves how much this country has been bought off.
I've read that!!!! Man oh man the signals about this media cabal came in loud and clear!!!!
