The People’s Budget L.A. calls for the LAPD’s budget to be reduced to a mere 1.64 percent of the city’s general spending, down from 16.2 percent during the 2019-20 fiscal year. That would represent a 90 percent reduction in LAPD funding.

My question is, if you live in Los Angeles, are you a fan of a 1.6% budget for law enforcement? Would this be in the form of laying of 98% of the cops in LA?

Result: a massive violent crime spike, a massive push to refund cops, and a reactionary dismantling of democratic balances like the City Council in favor of a strict Police State.

Have at it and learn, Alyssa.

LOL doesnt she live in LA? It would be sad if her house got mobbed and she had no protection.

That and she's basically saying "I can afford to pay for security but the poeple in downtown LA and Compton...they'll be on their own. Oh well, I'm safe! LOL"

Don Lemon said it best last night. Only certain black lives matter.

I hope they do it and replace them with Social Workers that talk about their feelings and how it is all society's fault. Then see what happens.

Live in LA? Let me put it this way......"On second thought, let's not go to Camelot, tis a silly place." Probably say that about the whole of California. Wild horses could not drag me there.

Hence to answer your question, it takes a certain kind of person, one I do not understand at all, to live there with the kind of insanity that goes on daily, so it seems. IMHO.

How’s this anti police stuff working out for black people? Police are not even defunded yet and it seems like they are shooting each other 24/7.
