NY needs to release his NY state tax returns for what legal purpose? I know they passed a law specifically allowing their Dept of Revenue to release them, but for what end?
And what is the specified and legitimate legislative purpose?

a. At one point Trump said he'd release them voluntarily - as is habit but not required - but then changed his mind?

Kavanaugh going against trump was a big surprise. Guess trump heard this was coming..he was yelling on Twitter about presidential harassment before the decision was made public.
