Read a few biographies about Orwell- you might learn something.

Here's another example. Someone pratting on about "the Left, the Left". Who or what are "the Left"?

By the way, in '1984' all the things you listed were perpetrated by the government. That's what the book was warning about. Anything that's being done voluntarily, without government force or coercion, falls into the category of civil liberty.
