Well there's a dead 30 year old in San Antonio that thought it was a hoax as well.
Looks like he was wrong.

patient in their 30s died from the coronavirus after attending what's being called a "COVID party," according to a San Antonio health official.

Now try to spin it.

And then read the second and third paragraph. Guess who is being quoted:

I won't go as far as saying a hoax, but I'm calling BS on the woogie boogie nonsense.
We should shut down for every outbreak that can kill a person. Every last one. And we néed to ban automobiles too. And close all beaches. Swimming should be illegal. And we really need to look into banning smart phones. The deaths are increasing daily from people not paying attention and walking into traffic, off train platforms, escalators, sliding glass doors, firepits, docks, cliffs, etc...

Of course - for right wingers, the very concept of data is a fraud. Nah, the hospitals aren't backing up with patients! Don't believe those fools known as "doctors!" It's all fake news, a big conspiracy, etc. etc.

Thank you. You summed me up pretty well.

Well, except for the "C" word. It's time y'all learned not to use that word. It doesn't hurt anyone the way you think it does.

Oh, and the "D" word too. Most of us understand, a whole lot better than you give us credit for, data and the ways it can be manipulated. Kinda like the guy who endorsed this book: https://www.amazon.com/How-Lie-Stati...s%2C208&sr=8-2

But yeah, the rest of your little mini rant was spot on, at least as far as I'm concerned.
