Why is this so hard for some people to get? (I mean, besides the fact that they earn a living being here on the pages of CD every day spreading propaganda)
It's quite disheartening to know that we live in a society where the media rules over people's lives and they seem to be ok with that and without any question at all.
It's just a feel good measure to keep you in compliance...wearing a burka is probably next!

Your mentality is everything that's wrong with this country and why the media continues to push their propoganda. Think for yourself, apply common sense, and look at all of the facts without your horse blinders on. It's ok to disagree on things, but why is your way the right way and everyone else is wrong?
Funny thing is unless you are wearing a full face mask with an NBC/CBRN filter, you are not preventing any virus or bacteria from entering your body...those silly masks you put your faith and life in the hands of are worthless against anything but direct mist...even then your eyes are exposed.

Masks help reduce "direct mist" from you, when wearing a mask, to me when wearing a mask.
Surgeons do not wear masks to protect themselves from their patients, they wear them to protect patient during surgery, WAKE UP!!!
I've said from the beginning when I first heard that a new virus has gone wild, this is a *****! And, we are in it for the long haul. That's why people need to wake up now!
The reason people are blowing this off is that this "scare tactic" does not jive with what regular people know in the real world -- that being.
1. I don't know anyone who has gotten seriously sick on this -- 4 months on.
2. The number of deaths continues to drop in relation to the infections.
3. There is no official statement from any official government body warning of serious after issues on a large basis. Just random stories of one or two people who allegedly had issues, and we aren't even sure they were from this virus.
Plus obviously masks don't work. The vast majority of people have masks on since May and the number of infections just keeps growing. Far larger than when we weren't wearing masks.
Reasonable conclusion: They don't work.
