Everyone knows all children don't have equal abilities. Who's saying all children have the same abilities? In public schooling, it's accepted that certain children learn better with visual learning, some with auditory, some need a little more one one one support, some are fabulous at math but not good at English.

Who is saying all children have equal abilities in a school?

But I'm pretty sure if intelligence is genetic, it would follow that above average intelligence is also genetic, just as below average intelligence would likely be genetic.
I agree that we are missing information! And I agree on your statistics. I do not agree on average intelligence. I think most people are capable of most things and most have average intelligence. I run across far too many people who think they aren't good at math, chem, physics, whatever because they lack some innate ability and that's just not the case in my experience. Too often people have insecurity, ego, emotional problems and get in their own way, which could lead to lack luster cognitive ability. With opportunity, effort, a bit of gusto, and fun people can really surprise themselves.

If that's the case, clearly, then provide the data.

No they put them selves in trouble too but at the beach no masks. At the protests some masks. I put this particular picture because those are your elite kids.

It doesn't take a genius to understand why Trump and his sycophants are so opposed to social-distancing and wearing masks.

Policy makers should develop strategies to aid people’s decision by making information or debriefing materials succinct, concise, and brief.”

As with all research, the study comes with a few caveats.
“We expect that the contribution of working memory will decline as new social norms, such as wearing a mask or socially distancing, are acquired by the U.S. society over time,” Xie said."

Does that explain the BLM protestors and looters?

Maybe. I think the pandemic is making people crazier than normal. Our country is a catastrophe.

Talking in general here.

Clearly there can be other factors like environment (lead and other pollutants), or cultural where the SAT is now mandated by more places so it's not just the college bound kids taking it or at least a half dozen other variables you should consider.

I'm stating that it's just funny how everyone talks about genetics for looks (did you see David Beckhams kid type articles) or athleticism and so forth but suddenly get all anti-science when it comes to intelligence because of past racism.

Intelligence is a function of a lot of factors and genetics is one of them, I'm not saying any of the dogma from racist groups saying it's linked to pigment etc. but just that it is a factor which is often denied because of it's past misuse.

Anyone have a solid study linking to the lower SAT scores where they took into account the testing pool change over time?

When I took the SAT, only about 5% of my class took it, the rest took the ACT. We were all very good students that wanted another test for things like scholarships or college admissions.

Just because SAT scores came down over time doesn't prove kids are getting dumber unless you control for other changes.
