Portland’s Wall of Moms, Black Lives Matter and the Don’t Shoot protest groups filed a lawsuit Monday against the U.S. Justice and Homeland Security departments, arguing that federal officers are using excessive violence and violating protesters’ constitutional rights.

What a JOKE!:

The suit seeks a temporary restraining order that would restrict federal officers’ actions to protecting federal property. It would bar them from acts that would “intimidate and deter protesters,” including surveillance, the use of militarized force, and the excessive deployment of crowd-control measures such as tear gas and pepper spray.

Okay, it's American citizens against the rioters. If they don't want ANY help, I think we as Americans need take care of this.... I think Americans have had it with this JOKERS! Let Trump win so we can finish these LOSERS off since they threatened riots if he wins.

These "moms" are likely not mothers, but rather, Antifa militants who exchanged the black bloc garb Antifa always wears for "traditional" clothing, knowing that posing as regular everyday mothers the federal officers would be hesitant to use force.

Andy Ngo, a gay Vietnamese-American journalist who has been assaulted by Antifa, was on the ground and he recognized several of these fake moms as Antifa terrorists who had been committing mayhem and disturbing the peace the night before. Ditto for the "dads" with leafblowers - some of these "dads" used laser beams on to the eyes of police officers who may now have lifelong eyesight problems.

Some of these Antifa women, Ngo says, don't even identify as females. LOL

Why is it a joke? Why should the peaceful protesters be arrested for those who are illegally looting and committing violence? I've seen many cases of peaceful people being dragged without explanation.

Are you really advocating for suspension of the constitution? People have a right to speak their mind. They have a right to know what they're being charged for. They have Miranda Rights. And on and on and on.

Everythign your side is posting and saying about this WOULD make sense, if not predicated on the falsehood that the peaceful protesters are the same people as the looters. And likewise, you seem to intentionally ignore the ongoing fact that the Feds are purposefully agitating the situation so they have something to arrest people for. They are illegally there but you ignore it. (And yes, military, police and legal experts have said they are illegally there.)

I agree with you that the violence has to stop, and I agree that force may be needed to stop it, but that's where our agreement ends. I don't agree with you that arresting moms with force, for standing up for the constitution for all has any relevance to the illegal rioters and looters. Explain why arresting moms is going to help stop the law-breakers.

Suing for the right to protest... what exactly are they protesting by destroying stuff?

That needs to be defined... and shown that their actions are not consistent with real protesters.

What happened to property rights?

Their real agenda is here and it's not about a protest.

Graffiti on the county courthouse in Portland: “Until the police & ICE are abolished, we will burn this city down piece by piece.”

The explanation is usually given several times. After violence erupts, they issue multiple warnings saying things like "This is now an unlawful gathering. A riot has been declared. Leave the area immediately. If you don't leave you will be subject to crowd control measures including use of force ETC."

Those people who are just standing there very likely did not leave when this order was given. While they may not be throwing a brick at the time, they are now in an unlawful gathering. So they are arrested.

If in fact, no riot has been declared, and someone is arrested for standing on a sidewalk, then that is wrong.

Also, we are forgetting that unless these protesters have a permit, they CANNOT take over roadways. People get killed this way. Protests can happen as long as they don't obstruct traffic and impede normal life. Police have the right to arrest people who block roadways. The First Amendment doesn't give massive groups unlimited rights to do whatever they want. So people who appear to be 'just standing there' might be legitimately arrested, as it should be. Unless we want to live in a world where any group of people can just stand there in the middle of a road and prevent you, me, and fire trucks from moving freely.

I want SCOTUS to say there is no such thing as "excessive force" when confronting people using force.
