True, I think this came to a head with her support of Tom Cotton's OP Ed declaring we should use the military to suppress public protests. She could have expected back lash from that point of view at many papers throughout the country but more so the NY Times.
Supported Cotton's view or supported his right to give that view? big difference.
And that is purely your characterization to "suppress public protests". We were dealing with full on riots
I knew of her. And why? She was a Jewish writer who was center-left, as opposed to extreme radical left (which is the most common stance of Jewish writers), and thus I found her writings more worthy of my time.
You don't read a lot of Jewish writers then. There are lots of very conservative Jewish voices out there. Israel has a range of political opinions that mirrors the United States.
To be fair, the "staff editor and writer in the opinion section" of a newspaper should write views that represent the newspaper.
If her views don't represent the opinions of the paper, she should have been more than bullied - she should have been fired.
Your embrace of diversity of thought is duly noted.
She was specifically hired to give more balance to the opinion section. When she expressed views not shared with many of her colleagues, she was bullied, among other things.
“She should have been more than bullied....”. I find your approval of this to be abhorrent. A woman bullied in the work place by colleagues, many of whom I assume are male, should never be tolerated. That you approve of this speaks volumes about you.

It's tough to drain the swamp, I don't think it's possible even with Trump. This is what a lot of liberals don't understand is that Trump is the independent here. He goes into the WH and discovers there are opposition on both parties. The Dems say that Trump has no political experience nor can properly run the WH and the right says Trump just completely incompetent.
Trump has fired multiple associates because the establishment is trying to disrupt his reign. They don't care who he hires they will go after them. Once you pledge to the establishment they will leave you alone.
See Obama pledged to undermine special interest groups or the establishment but he gave up. He had no choice but to submit or face the same scrutiny by both parties. Trump is the only one that is fighting both parties, he got that lying Ryan out of the way and because they didn't do what Trump wanted so the public flipped the house. They didn't repeal and replace and people sees this as a failure of both Trump and the GOP.

And again. Just move along. Nothing to see here. While the promotion of non truth pushes one foot further.
This is how the Nazi's did it what you do not realize how banal each step is. ...until it is upon you and all of us.
