Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been taken to the hospital and treated for a possible infection, according to a court spokeswoman.

"Justice Ginsburg was admitted to The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland early this morning for treatment of a possible infection," spokeswoman Kathleen Arberg said Tuesday.

"She was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. last night after experiencing fever and chills. She underwent an endoscopic procedure at Johns Hopkins this afternoon to clean out a bile duct stent that was placed last August. The Justice is resting comfortably and will stay in the hospital for a few days to receive intravenous antibiotic treatment."

Thoughts and prayers for Justice Ginsberg.

While I wish her well, she needs to resign. It takes a truly sick puppy to want to hold onto power at all costs. I remember when the left went bat**** crazy when Kennedy retired. The man was past 80. Are you not entitled to live in peace at that point??

I think she should have retired years ago to spend time with her family, but that was her decision. I do wish her well too many die from infections. I don't think a lot of people understand that once you enter a Hospital they are more likely to do you in then almost anything else

Well, democrats can just use the page out of the Republican playbook and refuse to allow Trump to choose a Supreme Court justice during an election year, forcing him to wait until after November if Ginsberg needs to be replaced.

I guess McConnell might be regretting what he did in 2016.

One more reason to not vote for Trump.

There is a wee bit of an issue with that..... the Republicans hold the Senate, the Democrats can’t block the hearing.

Well, so I guess graft and corruption that was perpetrated in 2016 won't be able to be perpetrated in 2020.

Can't. Only takes 51 votes to confirm SC justice.
