I finally found some new N95 masks from a company in California. Yep they're the real deal. I researched them and the company. They were pricey but well worth it. I feel safe going into any public place with the N95 on. Is it uncomfortable? Yes, slightly. I've worn them for years in health care, so there's something familiar about them as well. But for me, they represent freedom. You will not catch me in a restaurant eating without a mask on, but you will catch me going in for carry out with my mask on. It's been over a year now without any kind of respiratory illness. I love that. Who wants to be miserably sick anyway? I fully expect to be wearing them in public for the next year or two. I'm fine with that.

Trump ain't wearing a mask so I don't need to wear a mask? Mk. Are you Donal Trump with daily testing and the best doctors at your finger tips 24/7? Are you the most protected person on the planet? Yet, he caught it and his whole family caught it. Want to spread the love that way do you?

It's pointless its stupid. I take off my mask as much as I can and just always head to any place not enforcing A mask like the beach or mountans. I been out and about since March. Im doin fine just working out much more.

I hope Mask Mandates will be gone. I dread wearing a mask since day one. I just wear to go to work ( take it off when no ones around) and grocery shopping. Heck im start to move now to buying my grocery online because I hate wearing a mask that bad.

Anybody else feel like this?
Im hoping for a sense of normalcy one day. At least I don't have to wear a mask at the beach or in the water so its one of the few times I feel like im normal
Next year at tax time, gonna tell the IRS, "Trump doesn't pay taxes so I don't need to". I'm sure that will go over well.

Yeah, I hate wearing them too. I refuse to wear one outside and will only wear them inside businesses because they require it. They look stupid and feel uncomfortable. In Chicago, they're so mask crazy... Unfortunately, I think they're going to force us to wear masks for a long time.

Oh, please! "MOMMY! Donny gets to go without a mask, so why do I have to wear one?!!!!"

What bugs me about masks, is that I struggle to understand muffled speech. For that reason, I tend to wear the paper ones more often, because they muffle my speech a lot less, so others can at least understand me, even if I feel like I must be losing my hearing, when they speak through their heavy-duty masks.

But other than that, it's not a big deal. I'm in a store usually 20 minutes, max. I take the mask off as soon as I get in the car. I can manage that, for my own and others' safety. When I'm taking walks outside, I carry one in my pocket, in case I see others along my walk route. Most people I encounter are already wearing theirs, though, so I probably should, too. After all, there is the "droplets hanging in the air" issue, so on popular walking and biking routes, everyone should be wearing masks.

Come on; this whole thing hopefully will be over in a year or so, after they come out with a vaccine (or two, since there are now two strains circulating in the US), and figure out how to get it to the entire population. (Expect some kind of distribution nightmare.). So we can put up with this minimal inconvenience that long, can't we? I can.

This reminds me; As of early Nov., it will be a year since I caught and recovered from a nasty flu circulating around California, when I went out there for a fall visit. Maybe it was nation-wide, IDK. But it was very Covid-like but without the headaches and loss of taste/smell. There definitely was lung involvement, bronchial pain, coughing, phlegm/post-nasal drip and fatigue. It hung on stubbornly, causing loss of voice (a common symptom, I found out, on the CA forum here).

So, yeah, if that was the sneak preview for Covid, I'd really like to pass on the real deal. Especially since the real deal is known to cause long-lasting debilitating symptoms in some patients.

Good luck boarding a plane, entering an establishment, or calling an uber.

Ofcourse many people hate wearing masks, did you miss the countless viral videos of people throwing a fit?

But we don't have a choice, so unless you plan to live in your basement, you're going to wear your mask.

Trump ain't wearing a mask, and Trump got COVID. And he passed it on to his family.

Yes, I hate wearing one, but I still do it without complaint, every time. And if everyone would just do the same, this would all be over lot sooner. I find it ironic that the anti-mask crowd refuses to wear masks because they want to "get back to normal" when in fact it has just the opposite affect.

Ah here's another person who knows nothing about how science works.

Science understanding is not based upon beliefs. Either you understand the science or you don't.

I don't believe the sun is a big ball of raging fire...instead I understand to process of nuclear fusion.

With respect to Steven Goddard (Tony Heller) - News FLASH! He's not a scientist!

If you have any credible evidence to support this assertion I would be happy to look at it.

All it makes me think is you're trying to ascribe your personal narratives to me even though you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to me.

I agree that Trump should not have the authority to silence government scientists. I'm sure people like you see nothing wrong with this.

Attacks on Science

Remember all of these moves by Trump and his unqualified appointees?
  • The White House blocked the release of an FDA guidance document, which detailed steps that pharma companies need to take to produce a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine.
  • During the summer, top White House officials repeatedly pressured the CDC to downplay the risks of in-person school.
  • Against the objections of scientists, political appointees at the HHS edited, delayed, and tried to halt numerous CDC reports and studies on COVID-19.
  • White House political officials downplayed the danger of the chemical TCE.
  • Trumps appointed officials at HHS sent workers to Wuhan, China in late January and early February, in the middle of the coronavirus epidemic, without proper training or personal protective equipment.

You must not be paying attention to the plethora of posts that anti-maskers have posted in trying to "prove" that masks don't work and are ineffective. They have lost on all fronts, yet they keep trying to come from that angle.

Well stop your whining and move to a state where the government does not mandate mask wearing. Problem solved.

All of the family recovered, in fact did anyone that got sick as result of interacting with Trump died?

You obviously have absolutely zero knowledge of how the tax code works.
