What kind of places can you go that will let you get away with not wearing a mask?

I’m guessing the beach?

At Wal-Mart. Enter without a mask, a worker who hands out masks will say "Mask?" But you will be allowed in if you decline.

What is a novel virus and how does it differ from a regular virus? A quick web search of this question finds that when animal coronaviruses evolve and are able to infect humans, these viruses are considered to be novel.

Never before have we reached herd immunity via natural infection with a novel virus, and SARS-CoV-2 is unfortunately no different. Vaccination is the only ethical path to herd immunity. How many people will need to be vaccinated — and how often — will depend on many factors, including how effective the vaccine is and how long its protection lasts.

There was no such thing as herd immunity in the Spanish flu. They think there might have been partial herd immunity — (this was only speculation), but look at how many people had to die just to get possibly get partial immunity! You can read more about this from these scientific peer reviewed published papers.

1918 Influenza: the Mother of All Pandemics

The Origin and Virulence of the 1918 “Spanish” Influenza Virus

In recent months, there have been reports of people being reinfected with SARS-CoV-2 after an initial infection, but how frequently these reinfections happen and whether they result in less serious illnesses remain open questions. If the people who are infected become susceptible again in a year, then basically you’ll never reach herd immunity through natural transmission.

I leave you with a good paper and a Nature News Feature to help you understand the myths associated with "herd immunity" for novel viruses.

A history of herd immunity

The false promise of herd immunity for COVID-19

There is no such thing as herd immunity for novel viruses. It's called herd protection and the only way to achieve it is through vaccines.

I thank you. I went through every one of your citations, and found them valid and damned interesting.

Masks don't work, the law was changed in the UK that you wear masks in shops etc.. and infections increased so badly, yet another lockdown. If masks and 2 metres distance works, you shouldn't need to lockdown.

No, such people don't dwell in the "science according to MSM".

Do yourself a favorite and educate yourself:

https://makeamericansfreeagain.com/ There is a 68 minutes video where all the "facts" about the emergency of COVID 19, the deaths, the masks, etc. which will help those that dwell in the fear created by MSM come to terms with COVID 19.
