If you thought our recent protests and riots were bad.
Imagine 28 million with nothing to lose?

lol Based on what? Because someone said so?

Not one fact was presented in the article you linked. Just a couple people testifying. Nothing about to what extent.

Of course evictions will increase since there was a moratorium on them.

Just think how many foreclosures could happen before November.
A repeat of 2008 is on the way.

The GOP and Trump took over a booming economy and destroyed it. Just like Bush took over from Clinton. Trump took over from Obama.

How many times do we have to live through GOP stupidity.

The economy wasn't booming and you have no proof. None. You wont present any proof because there are no facts to back up what you said.

Covid hurt the economy and there was nothing any President could do to help the economy except to open up completely and that would have been reckless.

Please they haven’t allowed evictions in many places, they still have months. So now is the time to get a job. Work with your landlord. Besides many landlords will work with renters , they also don't want to lose money. You have to realize rent cant be free forever. Or whats the alternative landlords will walk away, leave buildings , they will go into foreclosure and they will be evicted. Landlords have to pay bills too.

Meanwhile every other developed country in the world is doing vastly better. Sorry but no. Trump and his team utterly failed us.

You can argue whether its 28 million folks or not, but a massive number of folks missed rent. 25% in may, 30% in June, and 32% in July missed their rent or mortgage payments. Now a missed rent payment just means its late really.

And thats with 600 more a week for unemployment, and a $1200 check thrown in for those who dont make 100K or so.

That unemployment boost runs out this month. The $1,200 check is gone-went for rent already. August? August is when the pedal hits the metal, and it doesn't look like Republicans want to do anything that would actually stop this. So yeah, this is a big thing. It doesn't seem to be affecting me, but I do have friends who it is affecting. this is a issue. Billionaires are what? 500 billion richer then at the start, and the rest of us are 2 trillion poorer. That kinda hurts.

Im happy im not a landlord at the moment. I was once a long time ago, and it sucked. Its going to REALLY suck now.

No worries,
Ivanka to the rescue with her “Find something New Campaign”.
Just forget about the 6 figure salary you’ve earned for the past 20 years, those jobs are gone.
Re-tool and earn half as much. Yeah!.
