unsurprisingly, this Marxist sociopath is part of the OSU department of "Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies" (aka doctorate degrees in starbucks coffee making)

The Left Is Remaking the World
“Defund the police” and “cancel rent” aren’t reforms, but paths to revolution.
By Amna A. Akbar
Ms. Akbar is a law professor who studies leftist social movements.

Each demand demonstrates a new attitude among leftist social movements. They don’t want to reduce police violence, or sidestep our environmentally unsustainable global supply chain, or create grace periods for late rent. These are the responses of reformers and policy elites. Instead, the people making these demands want a new society.

I can't read the article since I don't subscribe. But this is apparent just listening to the thought leaders of these movements. I'm surprised they are saying it out loud. Has the NY Times gone so crazy they don't know they are supposed to hide that they are crazy?

In short, they are fighting for a form of marxist-socialism. Pretty bold of them to put that in print, but there we have it. If you don't want socialism and big government running your life, do not support Democrats and be careful of the Republican you support. This article is also brought to you by an apparent Muslim apologist. Just something to keep in mind as you are reading.

Yep, right out of the Marxist playbook. This is nothing new and has been around since the mid 1800's.

Remember you're not crazy. This is a small minority at the the bottom & at the top that wants this. They are making the most noise right now. Most of us are part of the silent majority that don't want this. Do not buy into this nonsense & don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. Your voice is no less relevant than the next persons. This is your America as much as it is theirs. Except most of us have contributed more to it than the angry Mob on the street that's trying to destroy it.

When you go to the polls this November look at what the candidates & parties stand for and vote accordingly.

You k now you guys have admitted over and over that you feel the US is being taken over by globalist one percenters.
Wealth inequity is a record levels. Access to the American Dream, by your own admission, is nearly impossible to achieve.
In fact many of you have also stated that a vote for trump was a vote for change, so what do you expect?

equity / inequity is a marxist term, it is saying equality of outcome instead of equality of opportunity. Equality of opportunity is what everyone needs to fight for. Everyone needs a fair shot, there has to be a level playing field. If some people do better than others in the end, that's just life. If you want better outcomes, give people more tools to get there, don't lower the standard

Technically any change to socity is a revolution, and no society stays the same. So society pretty much goes through revolutions all the time...

Old people are just scared because their world is no longer familiar...

The Enlightenment is hardly "their world", it's the foundation of Western Civilization

Yes, but right now the system is rigged. So let's not pretend every gets a 'fair shot'.
And this has nothing to do with skin color.

Another one who's jealous because he didn't go to college when he had the chance. They get bitter when they get old.
