Can't believe adults who act this way. Un-freaking-believable.
Oh I know. I just love it when they throw a tantrum, post it on YouTube/social media feeling all self-righteous, only to be subject to permanent ridicule. Poetic justice in a way.

There are alot of things that should have been done immediately and quickly, but they weren't. When that stuff started spreading outside of China, all international travel should have been stopped until China, and other places got their act together. And I would agree with immediate mandated mask wearing. Had we acted faster, we wouldn't have even needed to shut down bars, sporting events, and other places. But no, we wouldn't do it.

Many people lack empathy and are too selfish to wear masks. Some people really don't value their own lives, much less anyone else. I think this is part of why many refuse.

They are gonna have a little dictator at each entrance to insure we wee peasants are following their dictatorial policies. This won't end well workers are going to get hurt. I was already irritated with their asinine lines standing in the heat and rain so I rarely went to the store this will insure I WON'T be spending any of my money there. Wife just went this morning to get groceries and she says she won't be going back either. This crap is getting COMPLETELY out of control. Plus easy way around it is you aren't allowed to wear a mask if you are carrying a weapon.
Keep everyone safer and stay home. Ask for delivery services.

I know. How sad is that. We have been wearing masks since March. I have no problem. It's just the norm. But our country shouldn't have to be going through this if we had acted quicker.

Another few weeks. Lie.

Going into June and it's still not reopen.

They aren't even mentioning when the masks will end. Instead, it's the "new normal" and people will get used to it. So, they intend for it to last.

I guess they wear people down enough with the masks then if a 'vaccine' comes along where you have to have a tattoo on your body that can be scanned to prove you had the vaccine to enter the store then people will be willing to comply more readily.

It WAS NEVER A LIE, no one had any understanding of this terrible virus. Even today, we are still learning on the fly!

When will you naysayers ever understand that a virus is always changing by mutating?

We were told NO MASKS because, at that time, we needed the masks for healthcare workers. Supplies are up. We saw cases of them at Costco today. It WAS NOT A LIE it WAS A NECESSITY at that time.

We moved on from then! NOW, the virus is coming at us with a vengeance because of bars, parties, mass gatherings and NO MASKS! This is exactly the same thing that happened during the Great Pandemic of 1918. Spikes and lows, spikes and lows. Thank God, medicine is better today

Wear your DAMN MASKS!!!!! Quit complaining! We are all in this ship together, sink or swim!

It's sad, and there's little that can be done. Many people think this will just "go away". I think about something else.

I have no issue with certain places re-opening. However, WEAR A MASK, regardless of how uncomfortable it is. I would also say there should be occupancy limits on the places that are open. I also say there needs to be a limit on how many people can go to a place together. And I segue into this.

I don't take issue with certain restaurants and bars re-opening. I'm more bothered by people going places in large packs (10 or more). I saw a bar where a party of 10, TEN for crying out loud, people were going to a bar. No one was wearing a mask. Certain places I avoid because alot of people refuse to wear masks and some people are loathe to enforce it to a large amount.

Whatever places get re-opened, I have this to say: Wear a mask, and watch who you get around. As long as there is Covid-19, when I go outside of my apartment, I have to be careful not to get around large gatherings of people. That, and wearing a mask.

It is not rocket science...we just need the collective will to make this work. Any business that already operates under an occupancy restriction (say 50% occupancy) under a Governor's directive and is required to only allow people wearing masks into the business and does not enforce and comply with that directive should have their occupancy reduced by 10% for each citation...50%...40%...30%... They will find a way to enforce the mask directive pretty quick. They can hire more security or they can sell masks at the door or do curbside service for idiots who refuse to wear a mask.

I just don't understand why so many people make such a big deal about wearing a mask.

Here in Cleveland, they will fine the patron, and the business...if it happens a second time at that business, they will pull their business license and force them to close.

Is that called 'virtue signalling'?
