Trump quite embarrassingly brags about acing his recent cognitive test. Why did they give him the test anyway? Because they noticed something concerning, or is this standard for oldsters?

I actually took one.. and I proved I was all there because I aced it... I took it at Walter Reed Medical Center in front of doctors and they were very surprised. They said that’s an unbelievable thing, rarely does anyone do what you just did.

Was there a ramp portion of the test?

It's a test given as a quick screen for brain injuries or degeneration. The only reason doctors would be surprised at someone passing or acing that kind of test is if there is some kind of documented disorder, injury, or neurological condition that lead doctors to expect less than positive results.

Apparently Biden gets them all the time. Two really pathetic options for president. When you have to consider if someone still has what it takes to be POTUS its probably time for them to step aside.

Biden says he's 'constantly tested' for mental decline, eager to debate Trump

Or they know it’s the Commander-in-Chief, who is notorious for need to have their ego stroked, and they are a Major or LTC in the Army, so they were humoring him. And FYI, my husband, friends, and I have all had cognitive screenings every 1-2 years after 65 as part of routine physicals at a military treatment facility.

I think he's referring to the one he took shortly after taking office, not a new recent one.

Obviously your not over 60 , they do give this to you with your yearly physical. But then democrats arent smart to ask why is joe biden saying he has many of these tests. Because his are abc’s 123

No, I’m nowhere near 60.

Is there any link to what exactly the cognitive test consists of? Is it similar to an IQ test?

Eh...maybe Biden'll take his when Trump shows his financial records. If Trump gets to pick and choose ("cherry pick") then so can Biden.
