Over a hundred and fifty thousand dead, a Pandemic spreading through the land, a President who makes light of people who wears masks,
ignores the medical advice of the Doctors and Scientists and promotes crazy unfounded cures for the disease, Millions of people have lost their job -even more than in the Great Depression, Millions are facing eviction and homelessness, Civil Unrest, and protestors in droves across the land protesting police brutality and for civil rights, A President who at every turn tries to divide our country and speaks ill of over half the country (Democrats), An all out attack on our Free Press, Our Freedom of Speech rights and an all out assault on voting rights...We have a President trying to destroy the Post Office in hopes of stopping mail in voting so he can suppress voting rights and cheat in the election...openly. Our Schools cannot open as they should be because this pandemic was mishandled so badly from the beginning.
The data on where things stood when Trump was inaugurated and where they stand today.
- By January 2017, the U.S. had successfully avoided a crisis with the H1N1 flu in 2009 and Ebola in 2014. In contrast, this country leads the world in the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, with almost 4 million cases and over 140,000 deaths. Even Trump has acknowledged that things will get worse before they get better.
- The unemployment rate when Trump took office was 4.7 percent. Today it stands at 11.1 percent.
- The federal deficit has ballooned from 3.2 percent of GDP in 2017 to 17.9 percent of GDP today.
- By the end of 2018, the percentage of people in this country who were uninsured had risen by almost three points for a net increase of about seven million adults.
Best look at how Covid hurt the world economy instead of just looking at the US and blaming it on Trump. And yes - we are still doing better than we were 4 yrs ago.
Very accurate, but sure how to read and see how far we dropped in just 3 1/2 years.

Open attacks on the Free Press, the Post Office, ...
Civil unrest over police brutality met with increasing brutality.
Corruption going on right in front of our eyes. Congress unable/unwilling to stop it.
And no end in sight.
I'm leery of spending any money. Who knows what's going to happen with the stock market. It's not realistic that the American taxpayers can continue to prop it up with tax giveaways and COVID funds.
I was doing much better four years ago when things were on an upswing.
