Since Donald J Trump is likely facing prison time once he's no longer protected by presidential immunity, I think the niece is probably in a much better legal place than her uncle. He might not have that much cash left anyway. His hotels and golf courses are bleeding money, and they were doing this pre-covid.

Per her interviews, she wrote the book to get the information to the public, rather than to make money. Surely money from the book doesn't hurt, but money doesn't appear to be her top motivating factor.

Saw a clip of an interview she gave on Sunday. She did not mince words. She seemed to god Trump’s father responsible for Trump’s lifelong issues. Thought it unusual to blame the behaviors of a 74 year old on his father.

While most families gather for the holidays, Kid Rock is the guest at Trump’s dinner table.

It’s a very weird family.

Interesting note here.
Best sellers and #1 books are assigned that status in order to gin up sales. There is no central accounting. It's all marketing.

Why Every Best Seller List is a Lie:

Her father, Fred Jr. had already died when the old man (Fred Sr.). Donald and the other siblings were trying to get Fred Jr.'s chunk of the inheritance from Fred Jr.'s two kids.

One of Fred Jr's kids (Mary's brother) sued the Trump children to get Fred Jr's shar of the inheritance.

Donald countered by kicking Fred Jr's kid off of the family business health plan. This occurred while Fred Jr's infant son was hospitalized. The infant had severe medical problems which included extended time in ICU and several brain procedures. Donald jerked the insurance away from the baby.

That's the kind of guy you support.

Feel free to start whining about "fake news" and the liberal media.

I followed the antics of Trump the Developer back in the 90's. He was the poster child of who NOT to lend money to (I'm in commercial finance). When Trump kicked off his sister-in-law and his sick baby nephew from the insurance plan AND out of the family business I was horrified. And this happened not long after the Trump Co. sent a letter to the insurance company and family stating ALL medical costs would be covered regardless of limits on payouts or requested medical tests/procedures etc.

He did this to a sick nephew and his mother.

And people wonder why I'm a 'Never Trumper'. The guy is pure slime. The Trumpers can have him. Those of us smart enough to see the charlatan con man know better.

I still get a kick out of an early book, "In Trump We Trust", by Ms. Coulter, whom then turned against him. I imagine that she wish that book would go away, although not the profits.
Trump will provide so much employment over the coming decades, for writers, financial analysts, social scientists, professors, etc., that it may ultimately add more to our economy than all the economic loss he's caused.
