[quote=hellopity;58667318]Kellyanne Conway thinks getting Trump back in front of the cameras will help him with his slide in approval ratings and approval in his handling of the pandemic. Is this a good idea or about the same as injecting bleach?

Trump does not stay on topic and tends to promote conspiracy theories.

Kellyanne wants free TV coverage for her guy.

Oh God no. Please no. During the lockdown, I watched those briefings every day. The endless sparring with the press was intolerable. Horrible. Painful. McEnany should conduct briefings. I'm not a Trump hater, or a Trump supporter. Just a citizen who doesn't like to be tortured by watching a slugfest between a combative president and a deranged media.

The country needs to move on from coronavirus. Coronavirus is a new reality, and the new hospitalizations and deaths will be the new normal. The rest of us want on with the rest of our lives.

He should also reveal the most recent findings on HCQ's effectiveness as a profylactic, and early stage C-19 treatment when taken w/ Z-pak & zinc.

He should also discuss other treatments that have shown to be effective, & encourage wearing masks, & to distance.

He should educate people how young Americans <24 yrs old are nearly impervious to C-19, & schools can open safely, but 50+'ers must shield themselves from the students to contain spread.
I do not want to hear any politician putting a spin on or speculation about Covid 19.

It would put the last nail in the coffin of his campaign.

It could destroy him

... so I guess I am all for it ...

Depends on whether or not you want him to win.

Those briefings did not help his approval ratings. At all.

Assuming he could be convinced to actually stop interjecting his very weird medical opinions in this new round of hearings, they would just become fodder for attack ads - comparing what he used to say, with what he says now. Slow learner, anyone?

More briefings, please!

Heck, KAC is the WH leaker, IMO, and has been part of the resistance for several years. She's just too smart to get busted leaking. I can't wait to read her eventual book. She is a brilliant political chameleon and will pivot instantly once Trump is out of office. Somehow, I think she'll be one of the only ex-Trump staff that will survive politically post-Trump, and she'll be able to shake the Trump stank off her pretty effectively.

I voted no because they didn't communicate the serious nature of Covid19. On the other hand they demonstrated Trump's incompetence so, can I change my vote?
