What's happening NY is a complete disgrace and feels like its slowly getting worse everyday. DeBlasio is beyond a disgrace at this point. I'm not even sure what he is doing to make things better for everyone in NY. Defunding doesn't mean abolishing, but they just redirected 1 billion dollars to god knows what. Less $ for police = the results you are seeing now. I'm not sure how you can be satisfied with current NY conditions and the trajectory its heading towards.
You’ve really got to hand it to New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. As violent crime goes out of control in the Big Apple, de Blasio, or as radio talk show host Mark Levin calls him, “de Commie-o,” at least has his “priorities” straight.
He has directed that 27 police officers daily be assigned to protect the Black Lives Matter “mural” outside of Trump Tower.

In New York, it was reported that there had been 38 murders over the past 28 days through July 14, twice as many as the year before.
This past Monday, 18 people were shot in 14 separate incidents. On Wednesday, six NYPD officers were injured during a fracas on the Brooklyn Bridge, including Chief of Department Terence Monahan.
Two things
1) We have cops guarding words painted on a street that represent hating the police.
2) We have police guarding the words "Black Lives Matter" while actual black lives are being eliminated.
