But why not do something for the black communities? Its the least this country can do after its horrific treatment of blacks over the past 400 years (much longer than Germany's treatment of Jews and America's treatment of Japanese people.) The Native Americans have their reservations and can even legally build Casinos on those reservations in states that dont allow casinos and I believe Japanese people got reparations after World War 2 if I'm not mistaken. But its not just about slavery. Black alive people today have lived through the Jim Crow era and today's generation is being targeted by law enforcement. So this is not a situation where injustice only happened to slaves in the 1700s to 1800s.

Please stop. They are fortunate they are in America, where every one of their long lost brothers in Africa would give anything to be.

A great many of them have terrorized every urban area in America...they commit 70%of all violent crime in this country.

I am sorry, but as noted above, they have access to reparations - It's called welfare.

This world has gone mad.

Reparations in the form of community investments? You mean before or after we loot it and burn it down during the next protest?

The US government has invested billions into these communities, there’s nothing to show for it because we don’t take care of it.

Not federal income taxes, they don’t. And we need to require a minimum of all workers, perhaps $100 a year, in order to vote in federal elections. People who do not suffer the consequences of expensive liberal policies should not get a say in how the Govt spends other people’s money.

This reparation thing is not new. They've been talking about it in black communities for a while now, before Covid. It's trouble if you ask me.

Have you ever even been to NC, let alone Asheville?

These reparations are the beginning of big trouble.

Bahahahahahahaha!

The last thing NC needs or wants is yet another New Yawker. Stay put. All you'll do is complain about how you can't get good pizza or a decent bagel, anyway.

It is done every day in every state in the USA. Learn about Economic Development offices, about MEP's, about our community college system, etc.

Are you against economic development? Like any business, sometimes you have to invest to make money.
